8/19/23 7th Birthday party in back yard. I really tried to make this one work but "failed". Not afraid to admit my shortcomings. I forgot my speaker system but thought with number of guests being 25-30 that I wouldn't need it. I was placed between two sides of a patio with POOL in middle (more a pool party for the kids than a Birthday party). I had to compete with the POOL which was keeping the kids far more occupied & interested than I did. Additionally, the adults were on that other side & it was dificult for me to have them SEE things I was doing. Not entirely my fault & the client acknowledged it. He none the less said I did a good job given the circumstances (Sadly, I felt like a failure, but what ever, I did my show/act in spite of the tumolt going on w/POOL & kids).
